Shipping Policy

At Curating Americana, we take great care in packaging and dispatching each piece of wearable history. Whether it’s a camel hair blazer from the 60s or a pair of hand-polished tassel loafers, we treat every order as if it were headed for our own wardrobe.

1. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 2 to 4 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). Each item is given a final inspection before packaging to ensure it arrives in the condition described.

If there is any delay, we will contact you promptly.

2. Domestic Shipping (U.S.)

We offer standard and expedited shipping options through trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected service.

Estimated delivery time after dispatch:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days

  • Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days

Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

3. International Shipping

We currently ship to select countries outside the U.S.
International rates and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout.

Please Note:

  • Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country.

  • Delivery times may vary due to customs processing delays.

  • All international orders are shipped with tracking.

4. Shipping Materials

In line with our values of preservation and sustainability, we use a mix of new and repurposed packaging that protects the garment without unnecessary waste. Your item may arrive in a sturdy recycled box or mailer—but always clean, secure, and well-presented.

5. Combined Shipping

We’re happy to combine shipping for multiple items purchased in the same order. If you place separate orders within a short timeframe, contact us at orders@curatingamericana.com and we’ll do our best to consolidate shipping and refund any excess postage charges.

6. Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package leaves our hands, we rely on the carrier to complete delivery.
We are not responsible for:

  • Delivery delays caused by the carrier

  • Packages marked as “delivered” that you have not received

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout

However, if a shipment appears lost, please reach out—we’ll do our best to help file a claim or track it down.

7. Local Pickup or Delivery (If Applicable)

If you're local to our Northeast Ohio location, and we offer pop-up pickups or appointments, you'll be given the option at checkout. Details and eligibility will be posted on the website when available.
